SMALL HOURS and  LOVE KATY (dedicated to Katy Perry) are both 2 musical projects runs by the young experimentalist noise musician Jim Killick from UK since 2010. Both projects are pure HNW but better we going to concentrate our attention just in SMALL HOURS . This release in particular have a strong theme based around Israel and the conflicts there had been with its countries neighbours since centuries ago. A concept release about is the Siege Of Jerusalem in 1099 . The artist performed a live version of this at the recent UK HNW fest. According to the artist it seem the physical release (CD format) sold out quickly, so he hass uploaded it in Bandcamp for the enjoyment of everybody totally free and without any kind of border. From here we want say "thanks" to share your culture, effort and work with all us. There are manyprojects making HNW or ANW and some ones are of short-lived and other during 10 or 15 years, but this fact is never a condition to make a high quality ANW . Someone can say ANW is the most easy musical style to make, ok, but there are very few those fortunate that can boast of having achieved record 1 to 2 good discs ANW. True quality. A penetrating ANW getting almost hypnotize and induce you to reflection and calm. SMALL HOURS doesn´t need absurd and childish provocations to draw attention. Firstly its name is a name very simple and "inofensive". The same goes for the cover of the album: here we see nothing of gore, terror, violence and bondage. Just a picture of Israel during the medieval period. In my opinion, the artist here longer unlike many other projects to be "original", at least in the name and all the imagery that surrounds the project. SMALL HOURS in effect get strictly musical that ANW which doesn´t bored but calm, relax and give an special sensation of warm. Yes. The brutality of ANW reaches an end that becomes the opposite: an enabling environment for reflection. If you use to like noise and ANW projects, stop here few minutes and listen to this album. I spoke with another noise listeners and musicians, and there are quite people who believe this SMALL HOURS album is one of the best made by  James Killick. I don´t know all his discography at all, but I am sure to recommend this album for all those who love the eternal, deep, slow, calm and quiet ANW. Great walls no doubt.

NEVERTHELESS WE´RE GONE is a noise collaboration project between Alex Nenad (Dead Body Collection) and James Killick (Small Hours). Instead of the traditional void worship which many HNW project focus on, their walls deal with thoughts, feelings and emotions. These can range from profound sadness to hope and joy...
