"Wedding" is the soundtrack to the eponymous locality in the borough of Mitte, Berlin (Germany). The records reflects its diversity and character, its roughness, its charm and cozyness from a noise point of view. I am sorry but I know almost nothing about this project and its artist, just he started in experimental music in 2007 in Berlin and has recorded 14 releases in different formats: cd, ep, cassette, mp3, etc. I listened another album entitled "Pig nest" which is closer to ambient / drone music. And in 2014 this ""Wedding" noisier and more dynamic than the other. In all works I think converge 3 elements: noise, ambient and glitch. But the artist invent also another little sounds, effects and noises which became his recordings in something special, different. I ignore why ZOUL is so unknown and almost nobody know it, because the creativity, originality and quality level here show is quite high I think. In fact, in general "Econore Records" make and distribute music quite good and just the label is a little guarantee the release will be quite good. In the specific case of ZOUL, the result is very good. It seem it left still some physical CD copies (5 €) or mp3 download (2 €) and you can get it HERE .
