8th lenght full album "Atomic physics" by rising "noise spanish star" Alonso Urbanos. These all new recordings prove - once again - his ability to keep his stretched out & richely textured harsh noise drones right on track. The release was firstly made in cassette by "Bestiarie Records" with 3 tracks and very limited edition (120 copies). Few months ago another spanish label specialized in experimental musical styles ("Luscinia Records") re-made de work with a fourth track of 25 minutes and CD format, totally professional duplicated. I spent very time listening this recording and seeing the cover, back and general artwork, and after I learnt all design work was made by Alonso Urbanos hymself. People interested in storm harsh noise but also in ambient, drone and space landscapes, who would like to see some of their soundworks posted in that series can contact here below in his different contact links. Of course, in the very spirit of this artist, is impossible to say If his recent material is prefered or his old works are better, but the true is this album is one the most calm and ambient closer from his total discography and I frankly choose this one of (until date) my favourite album. The artist create some sounds like extracts from the outer space, the cold, empty and dark outer space. But the music doesn´t become bored and too much borred, because the electronic effects and "soft" noises arrive into our ears like the best songs of the genre... we can to remember easily KK Null or Ryoji Ikeda but also Merzbow. You can enjoy with his particular electronic harsh noise, but also with the calm friends. Always japanese artists as influences and futurist and retro-futurist as Art references. Alonso Urbanos (SCUMEARTH) has create a lot of different musical styles (death-metal, electronic, ambient, noise, etc.) and of course this diversity and veteran career is well demonstred here. To finish this review I am going to copy some words from th spanish webzine "Mentenebre": "Atomic Physics" again to show that we should not leave the country (Spain) to find high-quality experimental music. Plus, it's a perfect excuse to dust off that cd player". The CD format has an specific paperboard texture and original design that become the album more excellent (the tape edition is already sold out).  I think there left still some physical copies of this awesome CD and you can buy it HERE .

This mini album with a so special and awesome packaged, continues into the other elements and styles that Alonso Urbanos has worked with in the past. “Most of the World” is a guitar-driven psychedelic swirl complete with whispered vocals and a clicking computer error chirrup; similar things occur in “Most of Our World,” but with a more electronic bent. Lloyd follows many of his tracks with a sequel part, using many of the same elements in unique ways; it keeps Your feeling fresh and focused, continually reusing and recycling similar sounds. Played and recorded live with no overdubs or computers.
