ANIMAL MACHINE has been around long enough and has been reliable enough in terms of its sound that you have a pretty good idea of what a new album will bring:  The project does harsh noise better than just about anyone, incorporating the influences of  industrial into an electronic mix with distorted screams and insistent noise layers. It’s a formula that continues to work well for this project since its begining and its fans. However, this new release, "Thrashing drive vegetation", is a total success in its style. It seem nowadays this noise musician is very active about recording new stuff and also to re-make old or lost recordings, on studio and also from its live performancess. Are you ready for the non-structured at all harsh noise music???

Ernesto Bohorquez is a noise musician who already we can to affirm reasonably "famous" or well known into the noise / experimental scene. He started in this genre late 2005 and has recorded almost 200 releases in different formats (cd, vinyl, cassette, etc.) and solo or splits, compilations, etc. He was born in Lima (Peru) but moved to Poland, first and currently lives in London. He makes always the same style but his albums use to sound very hard, with an ultra-electronic and synthetic sound and near to harsh noise. In fact, this release here is not an official album but a kind of collection of different material recorded in Europe from 2009 to 2012. Despite is not an album nor his newest work, is interesting because we have together more than 90 minutes of his particular harsh noise and we can also to see his musical evolution, from 2009 to 2012. The tracks here are in general very long (10, 17 or even 27 minutes) and any of them has any industrial or rhythmic influence, no rhythm at all. About human voices almost the same, except some short fragments which are spoken words or real speeches about social issues, politics, ecologism, etc. You can percieve some Merzbow, KK Null or japanoise influences, because ANIMAL MACHINE has a particular sound very "clean" and electronic. In brief, here is a huge harsh noise compilation from a "new" British man based in London, who mix the ortodox extreme "japanoise lessons" with DIY Punk ethic. The release comes in net form, so not case and almost not artwork, except this awesome futuristic cover.

ANIMAL MACHINE +
EXEDO
"Alice in Rottenland"
Year:    2013
Country:    Peru , Germany
City:    Lima , Ausburg
Label:    Attenuation Circuit
Format:    CD
Artwork and Painting:    Phillip B. Klingler (PBK)
Edition:    20 copies
Tracks:    4
Time:    40 min.
Genre:    electronic
Style:           Harsh Noise

ANIMAL MACHINE release next to EXEDO is an almost 40 minute album of chaotic, disordered and ultra dynamic harsh noise that change non stop, which should surprise no one at all. His output of late has felt very similar – I keep coming back to his release on the norwegian label "Ambolthue Records", also his "Killing Wheel", where all tracks sounded almost completely the same irritable extreme harsh noise. I don´t know why the EXEDO influence is almost absent, really there is no EXEDO influence, in the sense that this german project use to make noise close to ambient / drone landscapes and a slowier tempo. Here both projects show us its wild side, its extreme side. Pure chaos but whatever the case, this release is certainly a slab of pure synthetic and electronic harsh noise that show light from all corners. Here there is a sound sharp and my ears can to percive a great chaos sensation in the background of ambiance. There’s little room within the wall for milion movements – the dynamic is stoic, the noise is stoic – and so the result is something that evokes a total universal explosion. If you like the japanese masters don´t miss this split. Energy, Eclosion and Noise!
