"Quaristice" is AUTECHRE ninth album on Warp Records. It was made available for download via bleep.com in FLAC and MP3 format on 29 January 2008 and then received a physical release on 3 March 2008. Autechre members Rob Brown and Sean Booth changed their approach for "Quaristice", moving from a more deliberate studio process to a more spontaneous and "jam session" style of songwriting, approximately doubling the usual number of tracks per album to twenty. Booth said in a March 2008 interview, "a lot of the album tracks are edited down jams, some of them hour long pieces we made in a day and then worked them down.... We’d have a fifteen minute jam, a ten or a seven minute and end up with a three or four minute track and we just kept them all.  The album is accompanied with track-by-track artwork from The Designers Republic. The last thirty seconds of "The Plc" contains a brief repeated sample of Run–D.M.C.'s 1985 track "Here We Go".

Tri Repetae is the third album by the electronic music group Autechre and was released in 1995. In the United States, this album was released as "Tri Repetae++", a two-CD set with the "Garbage" and "Anvil Vapre" EPs constituting the second CD. In Japan, it was released with the bonus track "Medrey". The liner notes mention a preference to listen to the album on vinyl, for its inclusion of surface noise; the CD version states that the album is "incomplete without surface noise", whereas the vinyl version states that it is "complete with surface noise".

Very underrated AUTECHRE album. I love their early moody ambient work with melodies and this album doesn't hold back. I think it's their best album. They have touched on the sounds from this era more recently on their newer albums such as Oversteps and I hope they continue to do more as I feel after 15yrs of hearing the same noisey experimental beats it's time for them to explore their roots and do what they always did best - calm moody ambient! 10 out of 10!
