Style:            Gothic           Punk

For several reasons which I completly ignore, "Sony Music" aka its sub-label "Combat Records" decided to put on the market in 1984 in US. One year later the album appeared in the rest of the world and had several issues throught different record labels. The Exploited was and probably still is, a controversial rock band which use to record fast punk, hardcore or even thrash metal, this last one just in two albums issued during the 90s decade. Most of its albums sound more or less similar, with this exception here entitled "horror epics", which obviously turn to dark wave and used electronic drums, reverb effect in voice and choru and get some kind of atmosphere closer to gothic rock. Some lyrics even could be described as "horror punk" or death rock in the vein of mid 80s. Maybe this is the only one The Exploited album recommended for those who use to dislike this band and its music.
